CDW-Is Your Video Surveillance NDAA Compliant? 2/3,2/17,3/3

CDW WEBINAR – IS YOUR VIDEO SURVEILLANCE NDAA COMPLIANT?

THE U.S. GOVERNMENT BAN ON CHINESE CAMERA MANUFACTURERS In August 2018, the U.S. Congress passed legislation within the annual National Defense Authorization Actto restrict the usage of technology from certain Chinese IT and Telecommunications companies. This Act is now in full enforcement and directly affects all Federal Agencies, Federal Contractors, and any organization that utilizes federal funding to purchase equipment and services covered by Section 889 of the 2018 NDAA.

Video Surveillance cameras are explicitly included in the NDAA prohibition which includes devices manufactured by Chinese companies and sold under their own brands as well as under some well-known U.S. labels. Your organization may unknowingly be currently using – or planning a future purchase of – cameras that are not compliant with the NDAA.

Join one of our upcoming 30-minute webinars to hear CDW experts deliver straight talk about the U.S. ban on Chinese-made video cameras, how it may affect your organization, and what you can do about it.
