How do I become a MEEC Vendor?
In providing its members opportunities to license education hardware, software, and services at competitive prices, MEEC solicitations are conducted by Member institution procurement officers and follow USM and/or State procurement policies.
Vendors may only become a MEEC vendor by submitting a proposal to an open solicitation and being awarded a contract. The solicitations are advertised on eMaryland Marketplace Advantage, the host institution’s website, and announcements are posted to MEEC’s website http://meec-edu.org/ under News and to MEEC’s LinkedIn page.
New vendors cannot be added to existing MEEC contracts, unless expansion windows are identified in the solicitation. The host procurement officer may solicit for new vendors at designated times within the life of the contract. Expansions windows currently exist in the IT Professional Consulting Services and IT Security Services & Solutions agreements.
